los efectos beneficiosos que ejercen ciertas bacterias sobre la planta están
mediados por mecanismos de &lt;a href="http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/quorum/what.htm"&gt;&lt;i style=""&gt;Quorum sensing&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/a&gt;,
es decir, de comunicación entre bacterias. Este diálogo que se establece entre bacterias
puede ser modificado artificialmente para estudiar la relación que existe con
los mecanismos de promoción del crecimiento vegetal. El campo de la
comunicación entre bacterias no sólo abre una nueva ventana importante en
agricultura, sino que se ha constituido en una nueva diana terapéutica para el
desarrollo de antibióticos.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
